Participants
Who can attend a Skip Day event?
Intermediate, experienced, or advanced drivers. Due to the nature of this format, only drivers who have previous track experience with road-racing courses are able to take advantage of the day. (This keeps the costs lower and the day safer – two things skilled drivers really like.)
How old do I have to be?
All participants must be at least 18 years old.
Can I track my convertible?
Possibly, if you have the required equipment. Due to strict insurance policy, we do not allow convertibles without main roll hoops, which must meet SCCA, ICSCC, or NASA standards. This includes the main hoop and rear supports.
Dates
Why would I want to do a trackday on a Monday or Wednesday?
Think of it like taking a day off work to go golfing or skiing – but at a super affordable price. We know how to pick the right off-peak times and negotiate competitive Group Buy rates, so you get a screamin’ deal on an entire day of practicing a sport you love and hanging out with other enthusiasts. Oh darn.
Why do some session dates get canceled?
If the Group Buy minimum isn’t met, we can’t proceed with the event. If there’s a date you really want to see happen, be sure to rally your friends!
Pricing + Refunds
Seriously, are these prices too good to be true?
Nope, they’re the real deal! So how do we get you the best track time for your dollar?
We buy cheap off-peak, midweek track time at local Oregon and Washington racetracks.
There’s never been a better time to ditch those boring responsibilities and DRIVE.We set the date and establish the minimum cars to hold the event.
We only hold events if the costs are covered. Think of it as a group-discount offer with a time limit. At T minus 30 days, we’ll confirm if the event is good to go.
If we don’t reach the minimum entry, we’ll let everyone know. But events often sell out fast, so register early! We skip the bells and whistles so the track will be open to drive the whole day.
No run groups, just wide-open track time. Come check it out for yourself.
Is the price per car, or per person?
Prices are per attendee. More than one attendee per car can enter, but the pricing remains the same for all drivers.
For example: If you have two people on your team, you’ll each pay the normal price for the day, but you can drive one car.
Is there early-bird pricing?
Yes! The rate is lower per person when you register before the Group Buy deadline. You’re always welcome to register after the deadline, but the rate will be more per person.
However, if you wait too long to decide, the event may not have enough participants to move forward and it’ll be canceled.
We recommend signing up as soon as you possible: Not only do you get the best rate, you’re helping make sure we have enough people registered to green-light the session!
How will I be charged for the event?
All cards on file will be charged in full on the Group Buy deadline date, which is at 30 days prior to the event date. This is done to ensure that the track fees are fully covered by the group, which helps us keep costs down.
⚠️ After the 30-days-out cutoff, no refunds (or credits for future events) will be issued for any reason.
Whoops, I can’t make it after all. Do you offer refunds?
Yes, but only before the Group Buy deadline. Entries are nonrefundable once that date has passed.
Whether we can provide a refund or not, please let us know as soon as possible if you won’t be able to go so we can get your spot filled and make sure the session has enough registrants. We really appreciate it!
⚠️ After the 30-days-out cutoff, no refunds (or credits for future events) will be issued for any reason.
Weather
What if it rains on the day of the event?
Driving is an experience best enjoyed in all its forms! Rain will not stop the day, nor will it be grounds for refunds or credits. The greatest drivers in the world were masters of the rain. Come on out and hone your skills with us, rain or shine.
